About
Originally, this blog was created as a simple personal journal to keep interested friends and family up-to-date with the goings on in my life. Then something crazy happened! People that I don’t even know – I think they’re called strangers — started reading what I had to say.
As my readership continued to increase, I became excited about the prospect of having a successful blog. It seemed, the more excited I became, the more readers I received! My subscriptions and comments kept increasing… Reading my stats page became an adventure every morning (I am a nerd, afterall).
The posts you’ll find on here vary from insane videos (Airplane crash reenactment) to my personal opinions (American Bailout) to Wordpress Tutorials and Lists (Tabbed Widget, 100 Resources for Thesis). Basically, my goal is to inform and entertain anyone that chooses to read and return to MattFlies.com. Nothing wrong with having some fun, right?
Now that you know the overview of MattFlies.com, I hope you will continue to read and comment on my blog. I’ll make sure you feel appreciated! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!
