Thesis Theme For Wordpress

If you’re a Thesis User, then you should definitely be on Twitter! Not only is Twitter great for your blog from a marketing standpoint, but it also boasts a large and active Thesis community, always willing to help.

By following and using the Thesis Hashtag (#thesiswp), you can take part in discussions about new skins, tutorials, problems, and anything else Thesis related.

While there are many who actively use the hashtag and are always willing to help, there are a few that stand above the rest. Not only are the following people Thesis Experts, but they are active on Twitter, active with the #thesiswp hashtag, and not-to-mention — Really Cool!

1. @pearsonified

Who he is: If you’re a Thesis user, you owe it all to Chris Pearson. He is the ultimate Wordpress Theme designer (he created neoclassical, copyblogger, cutline, and pressrow). And he also created Thesis. Apparently, he’s a pretty mean scrabble player too.

2. @diythemes

What it is: The official Twitter account of DiyThemes. You know, the place where you purchased Thesis.

3. @godhammer

Who he is: Sarcastic, witty, and a little offensive (and very interesting) — but a great Thesis resource! One of the most active on this list and constantly helping users on Twitter and in the Thesis forum.

4. @girliegeek

Who she is: Working with DIYthemes, Shelley Kauffman is always spreading the word about resources and tutorials on the web. Follow her for the best links to the best Thesis content around.

5. @kristarella

Who she is: A web designer and author of some of the best Thesis tutorials around. Her site, Kristarella.com is one of the best Thesis mods you’ll find! She’s one of the nicest Thesis users out there and since she’s from Australia, she’s your best bet once America goes to bed. Wait, she’s also one of the best when America’s awake!

6. @kingdomgeek

Who he is: He created Thesis OpenHook. Yeah, nothing else really needs to be said about him. He’s that good.

7. @doublemule

Who he is: Self-proclaimed as “Half as smart, twice as stubborn,” doublemule is a Thesis master. His website has lots of tutorials and he links to the best Thesis designers around! He’s not too bad himself, either.

8. @matthodder

Who he is: Matt Hodder is an excellent Thesis Skin Designer, responsible for many of the best skins available for purchase or download. You can see his work at ThesisThemes.com.

9. @jamievaron

Who she is: Jamie has one of the most elegant Thesis-designed blogs around. She’s also the founder of Shatterboxx Media, which has a terrific reputation. Also, she likes you if you’re funny.

10. @mattonomics

Who he is: He’s the author of ThesisTutor.com and a defender of #thesiswp. Another good Thesis guy named Matt. Good stuff!

Oh, Don’t Forget Me: @Matt425

Who I am: You can’t really write an article without some sort of self-promotion, right? While I’m not exactly Chris Pearson, I do know my way around Thesis. Not only that, I compiled the much bookmarked and used List of 100 Thesis Resources as well as a few tutorials. Follow Me. And Rock On.

  • Matt, I hope you don't mind me tooting my horn here. I feature over 350 Thesis Theme Customizations on display to give folks ideas for customizing Thesis. Matt and Jamie are featured Designers there and I have samples of Kristarella and some guy named MattFlies on display

  • hi matt,
hope you remember me. I had interaction with many of those listed here on Thesis forum and they rock.

So just on a personal note, hows life.

    cheers and happy blogging
  • All is well! Life Rocks!

As always, thanks for stopping by and continuing to read MattFlies.com!
  • A very useful list. I was waiting for it sometime. I am following most of them - and I am already following you :)
    Thanks for sharing.
  • Glad to hear it, Ashwin! And I like that excellent tabbed widget in your sidebar! =)
  • Question: How do you show the Reactions at the bottom? Is it integrated with Disqus or a new Backtype widget?
  • The reactions section is integrated directly with Disqus, although they only seem to work on posts written after disqus is installed.
  • Ok thanks for the info. Will test it out.
  • Thanks. And I took tips from your site for the sidebar :)
  • Thanks! Really appreciate your lovely comments! Hope I keep being useful on Twitter.
  • You're always great! You've helped me many times, whether you remember it or not!
  • Great List, Matt. I would add @AlexFraiser to the list. I suppose DoubleMule covers Alex.
  • Yeah, Alex is a great resource for sure -- I even interviewed him on my site. In making this list, though, I tried to select the most active expert users of the #thesiswp tag.

This doesn't diminish Alex by any means -- he is absolutely one of the best!

For others, following @AlexFraiser is a win!
