It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of Apple. I think they have the best products, best marketing, and best support. I have owned both generations of iPhone, multiple iPods, MacBooks, iMacs, and countless accessories.
I’ve said many times that my MacBook is what every girl I date has to go up against. And not just for my time and attention. I’m talking in many ways here! Think about it.
Qualities my mac has that I look for in a girlfriend:
- Skinny
- Sexy
- I know which buttons to press
- Lights up when turned on
- Always does what I say
- Stylish
- Sits in my lap
- & You can get a new one every 3 months!
Can you think of more qualities? Add them in the comments below!
So basically, it’s perfection in plastic. Or if you have the new one, aluminum.
Recently, though, the dark side of the computing world has began a campaign of senseless attacks on my beloved Apple. It kind of reminds of that annoying kid in middle school who would always say stuff like, “Bounces off of me and sticks on you.” You know which kid I’m talking about. And if you don’t, you were probably THAT kid.
Wouldn’t it be really cool to see Bill Gates as Darth Vader for Halloween?
If you have no idea what I’m talking and you’re still reading this article, I guess you deserve an explanation. Microsoft (a.k.a. The Evil Empire) has been struggling to create a successful ad campaign. They tried to spin off of Mac’s “I’m a mac” ads, but that failed horribly. They hired Jerry Seinfield for millions to help reinvent their image, but that crashed and burned after about 2 weeks.
They are now airing these horrible shopping commercials where they give a presumably idiotic consumer a sum of money to purchase a brand new computer. Of course, the person finds an awesome Windows PC for $499 at Best Buy. Then they compare that to the Macbook Pro (Apple’s HIGH line of computer). Anyone with common sense knows which one is better.
Well, it’s time for Apple’s rebuttal. Their always sarcastic view of their humorless competitors is what puts Apple on the top of the marketing world.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you an exclusive (if you don’t count the other sites with the same content) preview of the Mac versus PC war.
The Videos have been removed from this post, but you can still watch them at Apple.com!
I was going to put the videos of the Microsoft ads on here too, but my ears started bleeding when I tried to watch them again. I apologize.
